Where are the parties held? In your own home – yes we bring the fun to you. This takes the stress out of organising venues and transport problems, or if you prefer to use a venue of your choice, I will be happy to go there.
Do I need to make special arrangements in my home to hold a nail art party? We suggest you choose the largest room, usually the lounge, push back the furniture and remove any precious valuables. None of our party game ideas have children running around to reduce the risk of any accidents. Alternatively if the sun is shining, why not take the party outdoors.
Is a catering service provided? No, the catering for your party must be supplied by you, in our experience for this type of party we have found it best to offer the children ‘buffet’ style food, we have provided lot of inspiring recipes on our website for you to try. If you are planning a ‘sit down’ to eat we recommend that this is done after our party. We will be there for two hours so you could make the party 2 1/2 hours long to give you half an hour for the girls to sit down and eat.
How long will the party last? Usually the party will last around 2 hours, but this is depends on the style of party chosen and the number of guest, we can advise you better on this when we know all your party requirements.
How do I book my funky party? If you have any questions regarding our parties or would like to book then you can contact us by e-mail Bev@funkyparties.co.uk or if you would like to speak to someone you can call Bev 07704 615639. We are always busy and usually have party bookings as far in advance as 6 months, to secure that special date and to avoid disappointment please book your party early.
Who provides the invitations? We now have a range of funky party invitations available on our website for you to download free and print, each of our specially designed invitations have a permission slip attached, or alternatively you could have fun creating your own by exploring some of my favourite link on the invitations page.
Do I need to get parents permission in writing? We provide permission slips for the parents/guardian of each guest to sign to confirm that they are happy for their child to take part in the pamper party, and alert us of any allergies. The permission slips must be filled in, signed and returned to us before attending the party, the permission slips then become the property of funky parties. This information will be held under the strictest confidence and will not be shared with any third party.
What if permission slips are not returned before the party? Unfortunately we will not be able to makeover any guest who have failed to provide us with a permission slip, we can however receive late permission slips on the day.
Do I need to pay a deposit? A cash deposit will be required to secure any party booking. A minimum of 14 days notice of cancellation is required for a full refund of deposit.
What if I need to cancel? Call us, we will be happy to re-arrange your party date, if this is not possible, 14 days notice is needed to ensure a full refund.
